Decorated Locations. Consider a location that already has decorations in place OR requires fewer decorations – places like botanical gardens, beaches, churches (during the holidays), or even a park.
Close the Open Bar. Buy (in bulk) beer, champagne, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages and serve them yourself. (This is a big help when creating a cheap wedding reception)
Invitation Saving. Hand write the invitations yourself or get them printed instead of engraved.
The sixth point you need to make sure is included within your invitation should address how you wish your special guests to dress. Their comfort should be considered if you are having a casual wedding. The last thing you would want is for your special guests to leave early due to feeling out of place because everyone is dressed casually while they are dressed in a tuxedo and fancy dress. This is very easy to refer to in your invitation. All you have to do is to include how your casual event will take place such as in you will be having a casual beach party or backyard barbeque.
Also, before selecting your wedding venue, you have to consider the number of guests you will invite. For instance, if you have invited 500 people then the wedding party venue should be having a lot of room or else you invited guests will feel upset and frustrated because no one wants to spend his/her time in a place which is congested. At the same time if the reception venue you choose can hold up to 500 people and you invited only 200 then it would look empty and boring. So, it is advisable here that you must select a party venue considering the number of guests that will be attending your wedding reception.
